Eight years ago, when Mr. M first held her hand, they were both at an age where they believed love could conquer all. Back then, he didn’t have much in his pockets, but he possessed a determined heart and a resilient spirit. Mr. M made a promise: “I will give you the very best of everything,” looking forward to sharing every morning and night together from that day onward. Back then, she, young and radiant, smiled and nodded, her eyes filled with love.
Now, the youthful girl has become a graceful lady, yet the passage of time has not dimmed her radiance or softened her gentle nature. For their eighth anniversary, Mr. M wanted to gift Mrs. M a green-dialed Datejust. With the assistance of their watch consultant, Gary, Mr. M was able to acquire the timepiece promptly.
That deep shade of green resembles the everlasting gentleness in Mrs. M’s eyes and the unwavering trust she has maintained over these eight years. The man who once had very little, who promised to give her the very best of everything, continues to fulfill that vow, time and again, in these late summer days.
Perhaps over these eight years, Mr. M has already given Mrs. M the very best of everything. The watch is merely a souvenir, gifted to them by Time itself. The meaning of time lies in walking in sync with one another. As the seconds tick by on the dial, so does love flow from day to day through the years, with both deeply in love at every stage of their lives.
